Summer Intensives Week
This year, for the first time, we’re pleased to offer a week of intensives, each focused on a specific jewelry project. Come for one or both and leave with a memento you can treasure forever!
These intensives are designed for those with some basic knowledge of soldering and metalsmithing. Please see our Workshop or Weekly Classes pages if you are new to metalsmithing. We have lots of great offerings there that will run throughout the summer
Handmade Lockets
What’s a better way to create a keepsake than by making your very own locket? Stretch your metalsmithing skills in this 3-day intensive with Carmen Zhou. Learn to design and fabricate a hinged pendant out of sterling silver.

July 15 - 17, 10am - 5pm (one hour for lunch)

A metals kit will be provided. The fee for the kit will be collected at the start of the intensive
Bezel Setting Intensive
Ready to take your skills up a level? Want to practice soldering and add another skill? In this weekend intensive,
you will learn how to bezel-set a cabochon and design a ring or pendant for it.
Knowledge of basic metalwork and soldering is a prerequisite for this workshop.

Cable Chain
You know how to make a pendant. Now learn to create a chain to hang it on. Designed for those who already know how to saw and solder, this one-day intensive will give you the skills to make cable chains, the basic building block for creating all sorts of chains and then finish your chain off with a toggle or S-hook clasp.
